Police blotter: April 11 to April 17

Thursday, April 11  Pitt police took a report regarding the theft of optical equipment at Benedum Hall.  Friday, April 12  Pitt police reported nothing in the crime log.  Saturday, April 13 Pitt police issued one student a citation for underage drinking at Sutherland Hall.  Pitt police took a report regarding the damage of a car.

SGB hosts protestor rights town hall, introduces new resolution

Socials: Student Government Board introduced a new resolution expressing solidarity with Hong Seng Knitting and hosted a protestor rights town hall at Tuesday night’s meeting. Board Member Matt Jurich started Student Government Board’s Tuesday night meeting by introducing a new resolution calling for the University to terminate its contract with Nike. The board will vote.

Thursday, February 8  Pitt police took a report regarding a hit-and-run at Nordenberg Hall.  An individual reported their archery equipment missing at Trees Hall.  Friday, February 9  Pitt police issued two citations for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness at the Petersen Events Center.  Pitt police took a report for a hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle.

Wednesday, January 31 Pitt police assisted City police with a report of a stolen wallet at the Panera Bread on Boulevard of the Allies.  Thursday, February 1  Pitt police took a report regarding a hit and run at the Residence Inn on Bigelow Boulevard.  Friday, February 2  Pitt police arrested one individual for terroristic threats.
