WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) A 42-year-old man whose child had been asked to leave the pool house used a knife and a baseball bat to attack two teenage lifeguards, police said.
Worcester police responded to the Lincoln Village pool house at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a disturbance and were told by witnesses that youths were not listening to the lifeguards and were asked to leave, police said in a statement.
The father of a youth began arguing with the lifeguards before taking out a knife and swinging it at a 17-year-old male lifeguard without making contact, police said.
