KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Shawnee Mission North High School is getting a mascot makeover.
The school will now be known as the Shawnee Mission North High School Bison.
The change comes after protests about the school s nickname and use of Indian images.
It will take about a year to develop a new logo and make changes to Indian images inside and outside the school building, a district spokesman said.
The Fighting Farrakhans would be march down the field on their knees to show solidarity with the Cause and never even have to get up off of their knees from the time they played the National Anthem to the end of the 4th quarter.
Inevitably they will lose every game, life on your knees is tough, BUT!! the reffs and the coaches can claim that the games were only lost because of RACISM, THE WHITE PATRIARCHY AND MICROAGGRESSIONS.
If they win in their minds and claim to have won, then, they did win!!!
Then they can all claim to be girls and the team will be the first all girls football team to win every game in a season.

The district s board of education voted to end the use of mascots like Indians and Braves because they are racially insensitive. Shawnee Mission North has used their current mascot, which will have to be changed, for 98 years.

Jan. 26 Shawnee Mission North High School and three district elementary schools must retire their Indians and Braves mascots under a new policy after thousands petitioned for the change.
The Shawnee Mission school board voted unanimously Monday to approve removing the mascots. The new policy states that school mascots must be culturally and racially appropriate, and that they may not be derogatory or offensive toward a person or class of people protected under the district s nondiscrimination policy.
North, which has had Indians as its mascot for almost a century, as well as Belinder, Shawanoe and Rushton elementary schools, will begin the process of finding new mascots.
