The Bedford County Planning Commission on Wednesday viewed plans for a new SAC Shop convenience store in Wolfsburg.
Meeting via ZOOM, the commission discussed plans submitted by CME Engineering for the current store at the intersection of Wolfsburg Road and Route 30 in Bedford Township.
The plan proposes the demolition of the current store and removal of fuel pumps, fuel tanks and other amenities.
In its place, SAC is proposing a larger, 4,200-square-foot store that would occupy the present site and two adjacent parcels.
The new facility would include new fueling islands with a canopy, fuel tanks, a retaining wall around a portion of the new building, new asphalt and concrete pavement, 25 parking spaces and new driveways.
