The 63rd-annual Help Them To Hope campaign benefits local service agencies that provide direct financial support and services to Lake County residents in need.
This year’s recipients of donations are familiar organizations that have been spreading hope for many years: A Safe Place, Beacon Place, Catholic Charities, COOL Ministries, Keeping Families Covered, Mothers Trust Foundation and PADS Lake County.
Also, Americares has named two directors of emergency response in the United States and worldwide, and the hedge-fund billionaire and philanthropist Julian Robertson has died.
