As Hampton Roads’ residents learn the Pungo Strawberry Festival isn’t happening in 2023, many suggestions are coming up about other nearby, alternate locations.
The City Council approved a $1.5 million incentive for the June festival at a meeting Tuesday. Beach Events, the city’s entertainment contracting company, added a beach rodeo April 15-16.
