CLEMSON, S.C. – Following their historic performances this past season, four Tigers are continuing their careers on the pitch as Hal Hershfelt, Makenna Morris, Halle Mackiewicz and Caroline Conti were all selected in the 2024 NWSL draft on Friday evening.  With the No. 5 pick, the Washington Spirit selected Hershfelt as she was the first Tiger to be selected in the 2024 draft. The graduate had an impressive season for Clemson as she played in 24 matches and clocked over 1,900 minutes played. Hershfelt was named to the First Team All-ACC and was listed on the NCAA All-Tournament Team, following her performance in Clemson’s first-ever College Cup appearance. In her five seasons at Clemson, Hershfelt has made an everlasting impact in a Tiger uniform.  The Spirit had their eyes on the Tigers as the club selected Morris as the No. 13 pick. Morris, who led Clemson in points (26) and goals (10), was a key-player in the back line as the defender helped lead the Tigers to 14 total shutout
