Sunman Man Injured In Rollover Crash In Ripley Co.

Mar 1, 2021 RIPLEY COUNTY – The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office released the following information regarding a crash that occurred around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at State Road 129 and County Road 1200 N. in Ripley County. Vehicle #2, a white Chevy Blazer, driven by Sharon Smith of Batesville, was traveling south bound on SR 129. She was slowing or stopped attempting to turn onto County Road 1200 N. Vehicle #1, a black Jeep, driven by Juan Carlos Visoso of Versailles, was traveling south bound on State Road 129 following vehicle #2. Driver #1 (Juan Carlos) failed to stop and struck vehicle #2 in the rear causing vehicle # 2 to go into the pathway of vehicle #3, a black Subaru Outback, driven by Tyson Skinner of Madison.

Four Batesville Businesses Partner To Provide Meals For First Responders

Eagle Country 99.3 By City of Batesville, news release Photo provided. (Batesville, Ind.) - Four Batesville businesses partnered to provide free meals to the City of Batesville’s first responders. Ison’s Family Pizza, Rowland Graphics, The Garrett Group and Sharp Painting LLC donated meal vouchers for each police officer, firefighter and EMT. The businesses provided the donation in an effort to show gratitude to the Batesville Police Department and Batesville Fire & Rescue. “Everyone here in our department appreciates gestures like this when they come in,” said Police Chief Stan Holt. “But what we appreciate even more is having supportive businesses and citizens as we continue our mission to serve and protect the community.

MMH To Administer First COVID-19 Vaccinations For Frontline Healthcare Workers By Margaret Mary Health, news release Phase one individuals include all healthcare workers, with MMH specifically serving those living in Ripley, Franklin, Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties.  (Batesville, Ind.) - Margaret Mary Health (MMH) has been working diligently with the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) over the last several weeks, preparing to administer phase one of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan upon approval of the vaccine. The phase one individuals include all healthcare workers, with MMH specifically serving those living in Ripley, Franklin, Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties.  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) provided emergency use authorization for prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) late last week.
