Two college students from Bengaluru, Krishnan A and Peddi Sai Kaushik, cycled over 3,200 km in over 60 days to pay homage to the martyrs at the war memorial on Kargil Vijay Diwas. The duo, who are both National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and aspire to join the armed forces, started their journey on the Kanyakumari-Srinagar highway in May and aimed to complete it before the monsoon season. They overcame setbacks, illnesses and difficulties to honor the martyrs and raise awareness about the sacrifices made by soldiers.
