Lawmakers extend eviction moratorium to January 31, but not everyone s celebrating

Lawmakers extend eviction moratorium to January 31, but not everyone’s celebrating $25 billion in rental assistance in COVID relief deal By Chasity Maxie | December 22, 2020 at 8:19 PM CST - Updated December 22 at 8:19 PM BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Tens of millions of Americans in danger of losing their homes are getting some help. Lawmakers voted Monday to extend an eviction moratorium by another month.
