Cache County Council members discussed their concerns with the county executive’s proposed 2023 tentative budget during a special meeting Tuesday evening.
Dane Murray, chief prosecutor and deputy county attorney, was selected to serve as the interim Cache County Attorney during a special-set county council meeting on Tuesday.
After over a month of consideration, the Cache County Council voted to approve an 8% cost of living adjustment for all county elected officials other than themselves Tuesday evening.
The Cache County Council held a noon press conference Thursday to discuss their concerns with County Executive David Zook’s process of submitting a tentative budget for 2023.
“Can I just express my frustration?” County Council Member Gina Worthen said during the council’s meeting Tuesday night. “It’s just really hard to get a budget this late.”
