Buellton, Calif Alma Rosa Winery, a producer of premium wines from Santa Barbara County s Sta. Rita Hills, has hired Martha Sheldon as Central Coast Regional Manager. Martha will manage direct sales in Santa Barbara County.
Sheldon comes to Alma Rosa following nearly six years with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, most recently serving as a fine wine specialist and sales consultant for the Santa Barbara market. Prior to entering the wine industry, Martha honed her customer service skills throughout a 17-year career with Nordstrom.

Rita Hills AVA, will host its second-annual Peace of Mind 10,000 Steps in the Right Direction fundraising walk on July 24, 2021. Conceived by Alma Rosa Winery proprietors Bob and Barb Zorich, who have a long history of supporting mental health-related causes, funds raised will support research and treatment for anxiety and depression through two beneficiaries, Mental Wellness Center and One Mind. Alma Rosa will also observe Mental Health Month by donating 10% of all direct sales generated during the month of May to Mental Wellness Center in Santa Barbara.
