+ March 16, 2021 BACOLOD City Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran reiterated to the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) to double its effort to solve the killing incidents in the city. Bacolod City was very peaceful two to three years ago and after that, there were series of unsolved crimes or killings and it s alarming, Familiaran said.
He said the police should double their effort to solve the killings and to give justice to the family of the victims.
On Friday, March 12, Lino Cuadra Jr., 62, of Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, was shot to death by unidentified assailants at the Northbound Terminal in Barangay Bata.

Police Lieutenant Jesse Lepana, deputy chief of Police Station 3, on Sunday said they have no lead yet on the identities of the assailants, whom they claimed to be not less than three armed men.
Cuadra, 62, of Purok Sigay, Barangay 2 sustained multiple gunshot wounds when unidentified assailants fired at him several times around 6:40 p.m.
Police recovered from the scene of the crime 22 empty shells of a .45 caliber revolver.
