No structures were lost. The fire burned approximately 76.5 acres, officials said.
Natrona County Fire District spokesman Leighton Burgen said they believed the “Scenic Fire” had originated in a burn pile. Elevated fire danger conditions had been advised by the National Weather Service throughout the weekend, during which time burning of any kind is discouraged.
