A combined team of security forces has announced the killing of three combatants of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its militant wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN). According to the Nigerian Army, the suspects were killed in a fierce encounter during a clearance operation in the early hours of Monday. A statement issued by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, said the incident happened at Igboro Forest, between Arochukwu and Ohafia local government areas of Abia State.
