DC Comics has announced plans to collaborate with Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Ghost and more on a ‘Band Edition’ of their 2020 series
Dark Nights: Death Metal. The seven issues with the ‘Band Edition’ covers will be published monthly, beginning in March, in eight countries: France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Turkey. There will also be a Collectors’ Omnibus Edition featuring additional content, which will also be published in Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, South Korea and Japan.
DC Comics said in a statement:
“Representing a cross-section of metal music from across genres and generations, each special edition will feature a variant cover spotlighting a different metal band, an introduction from the band and exclusive interview.”

DC Comics have announced a new series that will immortalise a host of metal stars in their own issues.
The
Dark Nights: Death Metal â Band Edition series will feature seven instalments and will include the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth and Ghost.
The new issues will boast different covers from 2020âs
Dark Nights: Death Metal series, with each issue seeing one of the artists involved illustrated on the cover. They will also have an introduction from each band, along with an exclusive interview.

Not unlike how their friends at Marvel brought a who s who of hip-hop artists to comic book covers, DC Comics has rounded up some of metal s most renowned players for a variant series of its own.
