A US mother says she was body-shamed and threatened by a waterpark manager and someone claiming to be a police officer over the length of her shorts.
Bailey Breedlove was at Six Flags in Oklahoma with her daughter and husband in early May on a family holiday. She was walking towards a ride with her daughter, who decided to coast down the hill using the wheels in the heels of her shoes. She was just rolling down the hill next to me, she wasn t out of control or anything, Breedlove told radio show The News Junkie on Tuesday.
They don t look that short to me, but it looks like Frontier City thought they were.
Over the weekend it looks like a woman named Bailey Breedlove decided to take her family to Frontier City up in Oklahoma City. She says after a few hours in the park, she was told she needed to go buy some new shorts from one of the shops because what she was wearing was going against the company policy.
Frontier City s dress code policy from their website states: Frontier City has dress codes designed to maintain the park’s family atmosphere and to ensure guest safety. We do not allow clothing generally considered offensive. Profanity, obscene gestures, obscene statements, pictures of illegal substances, all gang related items or clothing, costumes or disguises that conceal identity and adult full-face makeup are prohibited.
Some amusement parks apparently take the dress code very seriously.
A woman in Oklahoma said she was harassed by security and kicked out of a theme park because her shorts were too short. According to her, she was able to enter the park without any issues and it wasn’t until a certain security officer confronted her that she had a problem.
Bailey Breedlove was visiting Six Flags’ Frontier City with her daughter when the incident occurred, Newsweek first reported. Park security confronted the young mother about the length of her shorts, which they determined were too short.
Breedlove uploaded a video to TikTok showing her speaking with two security officers from the park. In the video, the officers appear to be wearing uniforms that identify them as police officers. According to Newsweek, however, Breedlove later spoke with the Oklahoma City Police and was told that the officers who were involved in this incident were not associated with the city’s police.

A mom visiting Six Flag s Frontier City in Oklahoma City says park security harassed her because of the length of her shorts.

Bailey Breedlove s social media accounts is now going viral.
Breedlove visited the park on April 30 with her 11-year-old daughter and boyfriend. The visit started just fine until a park police officer yelled at Breedlove s daughter, who was wear Heelys at the time. Then (the officer) proceeded to follow me and grabbed my shoulder to turn me around and proceeded to tell me my shorts were too short. I committed no crime and proceeded to walk to my boyfriend as I am autistic and have a hard time talking to officers, she wrote in a Facebook post.
