The mobile game  Azur Lane was announced back in September 2017 an anime adaptation that hit back on October 3rd, 2019. With that series done and settled, a short-form series is now set for a January 11th, 2021 debut with Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin. The official site English Twitter account updated as you can see below to reveal that Crunchyroll will be streaming the series and its localized name will be Azur Lane: Slow Ahead when it arrives next month. This project has Masato Jinbo directing it based on the scripts from Yu Sato. Hiromitsu Hagiwara is working on the character designs with Yostar Pictures and CANDY BOX producing the animation.
