Four die after car plunges down flyover and bursts into flames

BANTING: Four friends died after the luxury car they were travelling in plunged down a flyover and burst into flames. Selangor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Azman Shariat said the incident occurred along KM30.8 of the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) early yesterday morning. “The four were travelling from Saujana Putra towards Banting when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into the left-side divider before plunging down the flyover and catching fire. “All four victims were burnt to death, ” he said when contacted yesterday. He said the four had been identified as businessman Tan Hiang Hock, 30, mechanic Tan Poh Hock, 22, salesperson Low Jin Wen, 18, and Vietnamese woman Phan Thi Bich, 24.
