PUTRAJAYA: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry has issued compound notices worth a total of RM534,200 against 2,205 producers, wholesalers and retailers of chicken and eggs for various offences from Feb 5 until Monday (Nov 28).
Malaysia s Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs said there is ample supply of chicken eggs in the country, following reports of shortages in several areas, The Edge reported.
Malaysia s Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) said chickens are being sold below the current ceiling price of MYR 9.40 (~US$1.99; MYR 1 = US$0.21) per kg, Malay Mail reported.
