Three killed in Kaghan Valley road accidents

MANSEHRA: Three persons were killed and four others sustained injuries in two separate incidents in Kaghan valley on Friday.
The first incident happened in Sharan area of the valley when a jeep, carrying six tourists, plunged into a ravine. Police said a man and a woman died on the spot and four others sustained injuries.
The locals rushed to the spot and shifted the four injured to the Civil Hospital in Balakot wherefrom doctors referred them to the Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, Abbottabad. In another incident, a boy fell into the Kunhar River and search for his body was underway.
MANSEHRA: Four people died and seven suffered injuries when a heavy boulder struck a passenger coach on the Karakoram Highway in Lower Kohistan on Wednesday.
District police officer Zulfiqar Khan Jadoon told reporters that a huge boulder detached from a mountain struck a passenger coach, which was on way to Gilgit from Rawalpindi, in Pattan, the district headquarters of Lower Kohistan, killing four persons on the spot and injuring seven others.
He said Rescue 1122 officials and police personnel shifted the deceased and the injured to the Civil Hospital Pattan.
The police identified the deceased as Mohammad Naveed and Tufail Ahmad of Gilgit, army man Mohammad Nasir of Ghizer and Sajid Mohammad of Islamabad.
Man dies in road mishap

MANSEHRA: A man was killed and five others sustained injuries when a motorcar collided with a mini truck at Bedadi interchange on Hazara Expressway here on Tuesday.
The motorcar was on the way to Mansehra from Battagram when its driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle hit an upcoming mini truck.
Rescue 1122 shifted the injured occupants of the car to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced Sher Ali as dead.
The injured, who were identified as Mohammad Yusuf, Mohammad Ihtisham, Abdul Wali and Faizullah, were referred to the Ayub Medical Complex Hospital in Abbottabad.

MANSEHRA: Three youngsters, including two Hazara University students, died and another one sustained critical injuries when a car plunged into a deep ravine in Battal area Sunday night.
Burhanuddin, Ali Khan and Asif Noor, all students of M.Phil, were returning to Hazara University along with a friend Mohammad Salah after spending the weekend with families when the driver lost control over the steering after leaving the longest 3km tunnel of Hazara Expressway. As a result, the vehicle skidded off the highway and fell into the ravine. The locals shifted the victims to a hospital where doctors pronounced Burhanuddin, Ali Khan and Mohammad Salah dead.

The locals shifted the victims to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced Burhanuddin, Ali Khan and Mohammad Salah dead.
Asif Noor was referred to Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, Abbottabad, where his condition was stated to be out of danger.
