On Dec. 14, Avon voters will decide whether or not to approve the allocation of nearly $5.5 million of grant funding to relocate and reconstruct a portion of the north/south section of Old Farms Road.
The revelation that humans and mega-animals likely overlapped is part of the continuing work at a 12,500-year-old camp by the Farmington River. Discovered early in 2019 during reconstruction of the Old Farms Road Bridge near Route 10, the site is the focus of a five-part series of free presentations.
