Georgetown Visitation edged Bishop Ireton (Va.) 10-9 in overtime Wednesday on Molly McGuckin’s third goal of the game, and the Cubs are now No. 1.
McGuckin also had six draw controls and keyed the Cubs’ second-half possession. Sally Zinsner scored two goals, and Allie Boyce, Molly Finlay, Ella O, Megan Meyers and Madison Rassas all had one goal apiece.
The defense held Ireton scoreless over the final four minutes. Their next game isn’t scheduled until May 17 against Paul VI (Va.).

WIGGINS, Miss. (WLOX) - A roaring sound you can hear from a distance, but a sight to see once it breaks free into blue skies. For the sixth year, families flocked to Dean Griffin Memorial Airport for âWings Over Wiggins.â
This annual event allowed people in the community to get a front-row seat inside various aircraft. Each year private pilots come to show off their planes but for a great cause, benefiting Gateway Christian Academy.

Belle Grace totaled 10 goals, two assists, eight ground balls and four caused turnovers to lead the Sea Kings to a pair of victories against Tesoro (Calif.) and Beckman (Calif.) last week.
