NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â A silver alert for a missing man with Alzheimerâs has been canceled after police say he was found safe in Nashville.
Metro police say 81-year-old Robert Archer Jr. was found safe and unharmed in the 7600 block of Old Harding Pike at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. He was sitting in his vehicle, a Chevrolet Avalanche, which had run out of gas.
Police said Officer Andrew McCarron was driving home when he spotted Archerâs vehicle and recognized it from the silver alert. Archer has been reunited with his family.
