A chain of car sideshows Saturday night in several eastern Contra Costa County cities ended with police towing 21 vehicles and arresting a man who allegedly crashed his car while trying to evade authorities, according to Antioch police.
Antioch Police Sgt. Rob Green said in a statement Sunday that the initial sideshow at the intersections of West 10th Street and Auto Center Drive attracted more than 100 vehicles and 200 people to participate in and watch the car stunts, spinning and “donuts.”
