Im ama daetz. The eastbound lanes reopened within the last 20 minutes. The freeway was shut down at 3 30 this afternoon after two people in a silver mini van were shot. A man has critical injuries and a woman has injuries described as moderate tonight. This was a targeted shooting. An abc 7 news viewer shared this video that shares a medical helicopter landing on the freeway to take one of those shooting victims to the hospital around 4 00 this afternoon. Sky 7 shows us Richmond Police officers at a home on 17th street in the citys Iron Triangle district after 4 00 today, in the long after the shooting. Police tell us three possible suspects were arrested and a silver Dodge Charger was impounded. It appears this is a rental car. The chp was able to respond quickly because so many people called 911. We had multiple witnesses that called this in and gave us the ability to be on the lookout which lead to the suspects being detained. The chp encouraged drivers to find alternate routes but
