Astro Resources NL s (ASX:ARO) Vince Fayad and technical director Greg Jones tell Proactive that detailed modelling of data from a January 2021 DC/IP survey utilising two separate techniques has confirmed the presence of a large chargeability anomaly within the Needles Property in Nevada, USA. Astro s now planning to begin a diamond drilling program comprising three 500-metre deep drill holes to test the anomaly in the September quarter with a fourth hole to target mineralisation beneath the Tomahawk Shaft and workings.

Astro Resources updates heavy mineral resource estimate at Governor Broome Project in Western Australia
The new estimates are for three areas - Governor Broome West, East and South - which are within R70/53 held by Governor Broome Sands Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Astro. The estimates are based on results from Astro drilling in 2020 and 2012 along with drilling by Metal Sands from 2005 to 2007.
Astro Resources NL (ASX:ARO) has updated the resources at the Governor Broome Heavy Minerals Project within 100%-owned Retention Licence R70/53 to total 52 million tonnes at 4.6% heavy mineral (HM) of indicated resources and 6 million tonnes at 4.5% HM of inferred resources.
