MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) â Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall announced Thursday that he is running for a second term as the state’s top law enforcement officer.
Marshall, a Republican, made the announcement at a news conference in which he touted his participation in lawsuits against President Joe Biden’s administration and derided âlawlessness across our country with cities set ablaze.â
âI promise you this. The wave of the past will not be the wave of the future. There will be law and order in the state of Alabama. So long as I am this state’s chief law enforcement officer, I will fight for it and I will see that mission through,â Marshall said.
