(Presidential photo) MANILA - Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez said the agency will release Livelihood Seeding Program (LSP) Negosyo sa Barangay cards to small scale businesses areas affected by Typhoon Odette starting Thursday. In his report to President Rodrigo Duterte during Chief Executive's Talk to the People broadcasted late Monday night, Lopez said some 1,036 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will benefit from the first batch of distribution of LSP cards. A total of PHP8.29 million worth of LSP cards will be disbursed to 1,036 MSMEs until end of the year in Regions 6 (Western Visayas), 7 (Central Visayas), 8 (Eastern Visayas) and 13 (Caraga). In Western Visayas, DTI will release a total of PHP200,000 LSP cards to 25 MSMEs in Guimaras; PHP120,000 cards to 15 MSMEs in Iloilo; PHP560,000 to 70 MSMEs in Negros Occidental; and PHP1.2 million to 150 MSMEs in Bohol.
