KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 18): Jamal, Amin & Partners (JAP) has resigned as the external auditor of DGB Asia Bhd with effect from last Wednesday (Dec 16), due to “manpower issues”, according to the company’s filing to Bursa Malaysia.
It is worth noting that JAP also resigned as auditor of both Inix Technologies Holdings Bhd, which has stepped into the limelight after it announced its venture into rubber glove manufacturing business, and SMTrack Bhd on the same day.
SMTrack said the resignation of the auditor is on a “voluntary basis”, while there was no specific reason given from Inix’s filing.
The boards of all three companies are “not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention” of the companies shareholders, according to a filing with Bursa Malaysia two days ago.
