It s fluffy, decadent, and compounded with all the flavors any chocolate-lover would want to sink their teeth into. And it couldn t be easier to make! Simply assemble the french-toast casserole, refrigerate overnight for maximum custard absorption, and bake in the morning. Your loved ones (and your taste buds) will thank you.
3/4 cup unsalted butter
2 4-ounce bars semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 and 1/4 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Guinness Frosting:
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon espresso powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
In a small saucepan, bring the Guinness to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce to medium heat and allow to simmer until reduced down to 2/3 cup, about 20-22 minutes. Set aside to cool for at least 10 minutes. You will use 1/2 cup in the brownies and the rest in the frosting.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x9-inch pan or line with aluminum foil or parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the finished brownies out. Set aside.
Tailgating driver busted with 9 pounds of marijuana, police say
I’ve never been a drug dealer nor a drug mule, but it would seem to me that there would some simple rules to follow when transporting illegal substances.
I would guess that one of those rules would be: Don’t break any traffic laws while your car is filled with marijuana.
A man from Lodi must not have read that primer, because police say he got busted for tailgating on Route 46 and when the officers searched his car, they found a veritable bounty of pot: 9 pounds of weed, in fact.
