Huntsville police arrest man in fatal shooting of teen

Huntsville police have arrested a man after the fatal shooting of a teenager Friday night.
Ke’Ondrey Devin McGuire, 20, was arrested today and will be charged with capital murder in the shooting of Deu’nta Moore, 17, according to Huntsville Police Lt. Jesse Sumlin.
Police were called to the 1500 block of Ascent Trail for a shooting Friday night. Officers found Moore had been shot. He was transported to a hospital and later died.
McGuire turned himself in at the Huntsville Police Department Public Safety Complex early today without incident. McGuire was placed in the Madison County Jail.
Man dies in overnight shooting in Huntsville
It happened in the 1500 block of Ascent Trail around 10:00pm.

Police say the man died at the hospital because of his injuries.
His identity is not being released at this time.

HEMSI transported the man to Huntsville Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say they are looking for the suspect or suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
