The Forward Foundation is has announced that it donated $1,000 to the Jamestown Fine Arts Center. The funds will be used to support the Arts After School program.
Arts After School is a creative after-school experience for students in grades 3–6 each school day from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Students explore a wide range of visual arts and artists. Busing to The Arts Center and an afterschool snack are included.
Because they operate as a non-profit, they’ve continued to find ways to keep the public engaged and safe. In place of their wine tasting events, they’ve opted for a more intimate gathering called Perfectly Paired, a limited event that participants can register for.
Typically, the center holds a gala every February, which has been the Arts Centers biggest fundraiser in previous years.
