“I just find men are often the forgotten ones,” says Glen Burkholder, co-founder of Ontario-based Home Hospice Association (HHA). “All the attention goes to the woman who actually lost the pregnancy, and rightly so, but by the same token, men feel the excitement and anticipation too, and that void seems to me to be under-rated.”
