breaking news. a major shake-up at the very top of baltimore politics. mayor sheila dixon will resign from office. you re looking live another city hall where the mayor is expected to make a statement at any time. wjz has extensive coverage of this political bombshell for baltimore and what happens next for the city. we begin with mike live at court house east with the latest. mike? reporter: the mayors lawyers felt this guilty plea was in her best interest. you called eight bombshell. it truly is that. her lead attorney called her feisty, but said that s what makes her loveable. she won t be able to run for office for the next two years, but she will be able to keep her $80,000 a year pension. the term of sheila dixon, the 48th mayor of baltimore will come to an end on february 4th. she entered what s called an alford plea. she will give up all appeals and donate money to charity. resigning as mayor was a difficult personal decision to her. she realized if she were to co
