Residents of a neighborhood in north Oak Cliff are calling for more speed enforcement on their streets after a 48-year-old man who was riding a lawn mower was fatally hit by a car that went off of the roadway, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reports.
The man, whom police have identified as Armando Leija Esparza, who WFAA said was a gardener, was working with his son near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue when the crash occurred, the station reported.
