He went to north vietnam. The folksinger phil ochs once even wrote a song about him. Went down to cuba am a hes not an american anymore. Somehow it is strange to hear the state department say, youre living in the free world in the free world you must day we will air excerpts of our 1998 interview with William Worthy and speak to three journalists who knew him. Back in the United States. It has been almost a year since his first revelations on the National Security agency. He is out the new book, no place to hide Edward Snowden, the nsa and the u. S. Surveillance state. The latest disclosures may surprise you. Did you know the National Security agency is not only intercepting emails and phone calls, but the regular mail, too . Cisco ships it to that person. The nsa physically intercepts the package, takes it from fedex or the u. S. Mail service, brings it back to nsa headquarters, opens up the package, and plans a backdoor device on one of these devices, resealed it with factory seal and since it to the unwitting user who then provides Internet Service to large numbers of people, all of which is instantly redirected to the depositories at the nsa. Today, Glenn Greenwald for the hour. All of that and more coming up. This is democracy now , democracynow. Org, the war and peace report. Im amy goodman. The u. S. Has begun flying piloted Surveilla

Now you see cars coming in and out. 300plus beds in the Field Hospital behind me. They opened up this filed hospital because stahospitals i the state of rhode island were overrun. The largest hospital having just over 700 beds. They had certain hospital beds designated for covid. Those hospital beds hit capacity. So they had to move those patients from those hospitals to this Field Hospital. Theres one Field Hospital here just 15 minutes or so away from here. Another Field Hospital opening up today as well. As of now, they only have one patient inside but theyre anticipating more patients will be coming in throughout the day. I want to bring in dr. Laura foreman who is heading up this Field Hospital here and has been the director of this Field Hospital for some time and preparing for more patients to

We do not need to worry about that because they can get across borders and go by land. That number might be reduced to five or 10 a day . I cannot comment on what numbers. If someone had to make an effort rather than going on airport and jumping on a plane, if they really had to, dont you think the number would dramatically dropped . I know people come back. Right now we are able to screen them and collect information. What if they do not come back . A lot of people miss country, they do not come back. What happens then . If you have five coming in today, i were my constituents rather have five a day coming in. This thing of checking for temperatures, like it will help, is like scrubbing what does not need to be scrubbed. I would like to commend reading this copy, ebola is coming to america. The u. S. Had a chance to stop the virus in its tracks, but it missed. The issue came out before mr. Duncan came to this country and before he was diagnosed with ebola. There is good reading in the
