Some Ogun State residents have dragged the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led state government, the Ogun-Guangdong Free Trade Zone, and the China-Africa Investment Free Trade Zone to court over illegal encroachment of their lands. The plaintiffs, who consists of at least thirteen families are ancestral owners of over 485 hectares of land allegedly encroached on by the government, the Ogun-Guangdong Free Trade Zone, and the China-Africa Investment Free Trade Zone.
