Apple has announced a new 'Tap to Pay' feature for iOS that will allow US merchants and small business owners to accept payments directly on their iPhones.
Apple is introducing Tap to Pay on iPhone that will allow merchants across the US to accept payment through contactless NFC payments including Apple Pay, credit and debit cards, and digital wallets.
Tap to Pay on iPhone will let businesses accept contactless payments using iPhone XS and later devices. Apple says the feature will roll out in the spring, starting with Stripe and its Shopify point of sale app.
