CALUMET Julie Ann Langseth, 53, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice.
Julie courageously fought against colon cancer for nearly six years. Although cancer invaded her body, it did not overtake her spirit and her zest for life.
Julie was born on April 4, 1967, in Flint, the daughter of Douglas Hoxie and Sharon Kipfer.
She was a graduate of Calumet High School Class of 1985. It was there that she met her future husband her freshman year, Todd Langseth. Todd and Julie were married on April 11, 1992, in a ceremony in Calumet, officiated by Todd’s father, Reverend Robert Langseth.

Daniel Gabriel, age 66, of Merrill, died on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, after a long battle with MS. He was under the care of the staff at Pine Crest Nursing Home and Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services. Dan was born on July 27, 1954 to the late Clarence and Magdeline (Dallman) Gabriel in Antigo, WI. He attended and graduated from Antigo High School and received his degree in Pharmacy at UW-Madison. Dan was a pharmacist in New Richmond, WI, then at Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill, before MS complications forced his retirement. Dan was a huge Wisconsin sports fan, whether it was the Packers, Brewers, Badgers or the Bucks, he watched and loved them all!
