The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, is set to revisit the appointment of the head of the Ukrainian Accounting Chamber during its first plenary session in January 2024, parliamentary chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk said in an interview with news agency Interfax-Ukraine on Jan. 5.
The Ukrainian government has approved President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointing new heads of regional administrations in Ukraine’s Donetsk and Rivne oblasts, the Cabinet’s press service reported via Telegram on Dec. 12.
SPFU presents a concept of the Ukrainian Sovereign Wealth Fund, expecting to launch it in 2024. On Nov. 8, Oleksandr Fedoryshyn, acting head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU), presented what the Ukrainian Sovereign Wealth Fund will look like to the Verkhovna Rada’s Economic Development Committee. According to Fedoryshyn, the sovereign fund would gradually come to include all strategic SOEs that are not subject to privatization.
