On thursday, january 7, 2016 at approximately 4 06am Chesapeake Police responded to the on thursday, january 7, 2016 at approximately 4 06am Chesapeake Police responded to the extended Stay America Hotel located at 809 greenbrier circle for a shooting victim. The victim is an adult the hotel and was later transported to Sentara Norfolk general for what appears to be life threatening injuries. The motive of this offense is unknown at this time. His tractor trailer careened off the side of the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel yesterday afternoon, and it remains in the water this morning. Police still have not released the drivers name. That could happen sometime today. Officers say traffic citations are pending in the accident. Lets take a closer look at the accident from a view only chopper 10 can show you.
