The Racine County Sheriff s Office announced a drug bust. Among the cache recovered were marijuana edibles that officials say could be mistaken for candy.
RACINE, Wis. - The Racine County Sheriff s Office announced a significant drug bust in the city of Racine on Wednesday, Jan. 27. Among the cache recovered was a significant amount of marijuana edibles that officials say could easily be mistaken for candy.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Metro Drug Unit along with the Postal Inspection Service executed a search warrant at a residence near Marquette Street and Prospect Street in Racine around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Drug bust nets marijuana edibles, psychedelic mushrooms
RACINE COUNTY, Wisconsin (WDJT) A drug bust in Racine County netted marijuana, marijuana edibles, vape cartridges, psychedelic mushrooms and more. Authorities say the marijuana edibles could have easily been mistaken for candy.
On Jan. 27, the Racine County Sheriff’s Metro Drug Unit along with The Postal Inspection Service executed a search warrant near Marquette and Prospect Streets, after information developed the suspect, 20-year-old Anthony Luna, was involved in selling marijuana.
During the search of the residence, Metro Agents located 3394 (7.5lbs) grams of green marijuana, 46.5 lbs of assorted marijuana edibles, 53 marijuana vape cartridges, 5 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms), digital scale, packaging materials, food saver vacuum sealer, numerous labels/THC stickers, and one box of 9mm ammunition.
The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Wednesday regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding:
Douglas Clinton Siddle, on probation for the felony offenses of Assault Family Violence-Occusion – Prior Conviction, was adjudicated and sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Lacey D. Westerman aka Lacey Diane Beson aka Lacey Diane Benson pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
Marc Anthony Luna, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Forgery was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, the following felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.

Marc Anthony Luna, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Forgery was adjudicated and sentenced to Six (6) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - New information has been released about the night 39-year-old Paul Anthony Luna was killed during a Halloween party. The man accused of murdering Luna, 29-year-old Joshua Angel Rosales, is still wanted by the Lubbock County Sheriffâs Office.
The arrest warrant says deputies with the Lubbock County Sheriffâs Office were called to 12104 US Hwy. 87, at Discount Storage business, for reports of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found Luna had been shot multiple times and died on the scene. Another person had also been shot and was taken to Covenant Medical Center for their injuries.
