preliminary tests have come back negative. health officials say she s been symptom-free for the last 24 hours. she says she felt like a criminal and called her isolation, quote, inhumane. but governor chris tooe defended the state s decision saying val voluntary quarantine is necessary. we want to take every precaution. new york and illinois have also enacted mandatory quarantine rules for people returning from west africa who had contact with ebola patients. and three travelers have being monitored who have been to west africa recently. the local health department has to follow-up with them. they are asking travelers to take their temperature twice a day and stay in contact with the health department every day. so far they have been cooperative. i think they understand why we are doing this, why it is so important. the health department has said where these people have gone locally since they are back, but they are being monitored for 21 days. dr. craig spencer rec
