Right strategy . Thereve been many approaches but essentially they come down to what i would call what is known today as populationcentric counterinsurgency or hearts and minds. There was kind of a controlled experiment run by to the great nations of europe, britain and france in the 1950s to show which of these approaches is more successful because britain and france were each fighting counterinsurgency is an different colonies on different sides of the world. The french were fighting in algeria from 1954 to 1962.
