Online book of condolence launched after tragic Covid-19 death of teacher

Janet Jackson, and her daughter Kath AN ONLINE book of condolence has been launched after the tragic death of long-serving special needs teacher Janet Jackson, who died battling Covid-19 on Sunday. Janet, 63, made a huge contribution to the lives of some of St Helens’ most vulnerable SEND children and their families, working in education for three decades, over half of that at Penkford School. Penkford head teacher, Anne Kyle said: “Janet will be greatly missed by her Penkford family, and our thoughts are with her husband and children at this very sad time. Staff, pupils and their families have been deeply affected by her passing, and we are working to ensure that bereavement support is available to all who need it.
