Drivers. In leesburg very picturesque and had that snow globe effect for most of mid morning and early afternoon. We were on the roads in ashburn, chantilly and herndon as well. Drivers were taking it easy and driving with caution. That was good news. Vdot had 800 plows treating and salting the roads across Northern Virginia. Did seem like they were all over the place. Drivers we spoke with said that the roads seemed fine but they were hoping for a smooth rush hour. A little skittish maybe, yeah. I think its because its whiting out a little bit for people. Other than, that the roads are fine. I think everybodys driving, you know sensibly. Just starting to get wet mostly. But temperature keeps dropping. Well have problems. Thats a concern for some of the drivers if the temperature drops. This snow has been the hard, wet packed snow. Good for making snowballs and im sure thats what a lot of kids were doing out here. She was identified and admitted to being involved in the crime and she did not resist arrest but tuesday Police Detectives say she attempted to take off. She was trying to park in a parking lot right in front of an auto dealership on columbia pike and monroe street. Came in through the exit. Then attempted a threepoint turn hitting some vehicles when people from inside the dealership came outside, tried to stop her. The owner of the dealership was trying to close some gates to lock her in but Arlington County police say that mendez drove her car into those gates, opening them wide open knocking the man to the ground then after hesitating a few seconds, she hit the gas, ran him over a second victim had his foot run over as well. A private school in annapolis canceled classes tomorrow. An annapolis newspaper the capital explains in a letter sent home to parents. In it the headmaster reveal four of his students and their grandparents died in a four alarm fire today. The 16,000 square home caught fire early this morning. The fire spread so quickly firefighters couldnt do much to save the home or nip who lived inside. The home is owned anyone who lived inside. The home is owned by don and sandy pile.
