A DuPage County judge has set bond at $1 million for a Lombard man accused of threatening a woman and hijacking her car from her apartment complex. Bryan Church, 33, of the 2700 Block of South Highland Avenue, is charged with one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking and one count of aggravated battery to a police officer.
An ex-Bensenville man who skipped bond and fled the country in 2000 while awaiting trial on a charge of concealing a homicide has been captured trying to re-enter the United States.
