Anjali Mehrotra of Mountainside, New Jersey, a long time Democratic political activist, announced on Jan. 25 that she is seeking the Democratic nomination for New Jersey State Assembly from Legislative District 21.
If she wins the primary election, which is to be held on June 8, 2021, she will become a candidate for the state assembly.
