The minority leader of the House of representatives and member representing Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency in Delta State and Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) candidate for the House of Representatives, Ndudi Elumelu, has lost his re-election bid to the candidate of the Labour Party, Ngozi Okolie. Elumelu who was seeking re-election to the House of Representatives for the third time was defeated by his Labour Party opponent with 53,879 votes as against 33,466 votes.
